Spain were the bronze medal winners at the Men's Beach Volleyball tournament. In the 3^rd place play-off, Javier HUERTA PASTOR, Oscar JIMENEZ GUTIERREZ beat Serbs Dorde KLASNIC, Milos MILIC 2-1 (21-10, 18-21, 17-15) after a thrilling encounter.

The Spaniards won the first set comfortably, whereas in the second the Serbs put up a good fight, and after scores were level at 15-15, managed to equalize 1-1 with very good defense.

The medal was decided in the tie break with both teams level at 10-10.

The Spaniards led 14-13 and 15-14 and with a block and a Serbian error the match ended.

The Serbs, as in the semifinals where they lost 16-14, lost in the same way and finished fourth.
