It was a second straight magnificent performance by Filippos KYPRIOS in the Water Skiing Men's Slalom second Qualification round. The Greek athlete seems to be the strong favorite to win the gold medal in tomorrow's Final to be held at Lake Stratos in Agrinio (10:00).

KYPRIOS was a joy to watch, and tied his own National record of 3.00/58/10.25, while yesterday he had a score of 5.00/58/10.75.

The Greek skier looks in terrific shape and certainly the Final will depend on his own performance, given that after finishing first in both Qualifying Rounds he will have the advantage of the last starting position.

Nicholas BENATTI seems to be his strongest opponent. Today the Italian skier's score was worse than yesterday's, as he finished with 2.00/58/10.75 compared to 2.50/58/10.75 on Thursday, but he showed consistency nevertheless.

On the contrary, Frenchman Enzo VIGΕΖΖΙ, a bigger name on paper, does not look in very good shape. He did better today, with 4.00/58/11.25, (as opposed to 2.5/58/11.25 yesterday), but fell awkwardly in the water after Ball 4 and injured his shoulder.

Fellow Italian Alberto GHISI had 0.5/58/11/25 compared to his 2.5/58/11.25 ysterday.

Greek skier Pavlos NATHANAIL did not that well, as his 2.5/58/12.00 score was worse than yesterday's 1.5/58/11.25, and needs a real good performance tomorrow to finish in a better position.
