Beach Soccer: Greece Finish Fifth, Syria Seventh

The Beach Soccer tournament 5th and 7th place games were held this morning at the "Artemis" Venue. Greece finished fifth with an 8-5 win over Libya, and Syria beat Albania 10-4 to take seventh place.  

Greece showed stronger motives than Libya, and came up with the win led by Andreas KATSOULIS, who scored a hat-trick. 

Libya tried to react, with their man of the match Μοhammed ABDULAH also scoring three times, but could not react to the pressure exercised by the opposing team. 

Greece's other goals were scored by Konstantinos PAPASTATHOPOULOS (2), Dimitrios NIKOLAOU, Michail KAFANTARIS and Spyridon GKRITZALIS. 

With this result, Greece finished fifth and Libya sixth. 

Earlier, Syria and Albania had engaged in a spectacular match,with the Asians prevailing 10-4 and taking seventh place.  

Syria's top performer was Mohamad ADRAH, who scored five goals, while  Alaa ARNAOUT added two and Safoun  ABDUL JOUAD, All AJEEB and Ali SKATI one each.

Elton MUCOLLARI and Roland SALA scored two each for Albania that finished in eighth place.
